Abano poplar bench with natural paper cord seat 80 cm

Key measurements to ensure it fits along the wall:

• Length: 80 cm
• Depth: 35 cm
• Seat height: 45 cm
• Tested load: 110 kg, for domestic use
• Weight: 3.45 kg
• Packaging: 1 flat-pack parcel measuring 92 x 10 x 38 cm and weighing 4 kg

What gives it its structure and lightness:

• Seat: twisted and braided paper cord, tight pattern with crossed bands
• Base: poplar wood, four slightly tapered round legs
• Reinforcement: H-shaped lower crossbars
• Finish: natural light wood, round tips at the top of the legs
• Usage: tested for domestic use, up to 110 kg

The Abano has the feel of a workshop stool: a turned wood frame, a woven mat, nothing more. This economy of means makes it easy to place, in an entryway under a coat rack, at the foot of a bed, or against a bathroom wall where it serves as a shelf. It harmonizes with plant fibers, cotton rugs, and light-colored walls, and its blonde hue warms up gray tiling without weighing down the room.
