Braided bamboo is a plant-based material: each lampshade has slight variations in shade and weaving that are part of its character. This version rests on a slanted solid wood base that holds a very large saucer from the ground: it is distinctly different from the offset arm reading lamp version. At 87 cm, reserve it for a large space. The natural and black mix matches wood and neutral tones. A warm bulb around 2700 K enhances the cozy atmosphere.
