Picknick black gingham linen napkin 45x45 cm

Useful tips before setting the table:

• Size: 45 x 45 cm
• Sold individually
• Weight: 60 g
• Package: 23 x 11 x 1 cm

What makes its material and pattern:

• Material: linen
• Pattern: small black and natural gingham check, obtained through weaving
• Three tonal values depending on the thread interlacing
• Edges: black bias binding on all four sides
• Linen softens with washing while retaining its structure
• Color and texture vary slightly from one piece to another

Black gingham is dressier than colored gingham: it evokes bistro linens rather than a picnic, despite its name. On simple white dinnerware, it brings the entire pattern to the table on its own, and it is just as suitable for a daily lunch as it is for a lingering dinner.

For use and care:

• Usage: everyday meals as well as long evenings at the table
• The check pattern makes small stains less visible than solid linen
• Washing: 30 degrees maximum
• Ironing: with the grain, following the lines of the pattern
• Never pull the damp fiber on the bias, as the check will distort into a diamond shape
• This distortion of the check is permanent
