Key measurements for setting the table:

• Format: 45 x 45 cm
• Sold individually
• Weight: 60 g
• Package: 23 x 11 x 1 cm

What gives it its weave and structure:

• Material: linen
• Pattern: fine dark stripes woven into the fabric, on a natural background, never printed
• Edges: black border stitched over the four sides
• Structure: the fabric holds its shape and drapes softly over the knees
• Appearance: the tone and weave vary slightly, as with any natural fiber

A napkin that behaves like a solid while adding pattern: it doesn't clash with busy dinnerware, yet avoids the flatness of plain linen. Its black border ties it to plates with dark rims, black cutlery, and wooden bowls, for an everyday table or a lingering dinner.

To keep it looking sharp, wash after wash:

• Uses: everyday meals or festive tables, one napkin per guest
• First wash: separately, as the black border may release a little dye
• Washing: 30 degrees maximum
• No fabric softener, as it reduces the linen's absorbency
• Ironing: while still damp, to keep the border flat
