What gives it its texture and structure:

• Material: 100% jute
• Undyed fiber, in shades of sand, ivory, and beige
• Tight weave, flat-stitched in concentric rectangular frames
• Slight variations in shade from one piece to another, inherent to a natural fiber

The concentric frames of the Bombay rug create a sober, structured geometry that anchors a room without imposing a pattern. Its undyed fiber complements natural bohemian, contemporary Scandinavian, or wabi-sabi interiors, warming up both light wood flooring and cool tiling. Beneath a wooden table with black legs, it echoes the tabletop and softens the metal.

Where to place it, and how to maintain it:

• For indoors: entryway, bedroom, kitchen, living room or dining room
• Dry clean, or use a barely damp cloth on a stain
• Avoid immersion and prolonged moisture
• Jute sheds a few fibers during the first few weeks
• Store it flat, in a dry place
• Non-slip rug pad recommended on smooth floors
