Description

A creamy white stoneware with soft marbling, rimless, and finished with a hand-painted russet edge that bleeds into delicate flames toward the center. Each plate features a unique border, and a simple rinse with warm water after a meal is enough to keep this edge clean.

Dimensions Cascais white stoneware plate

Measurements for each size, to compose your table setting:

ø 22 cm: 22 cm diameter, 2 cm high, 0.53 kg
ø 28 cm: 28 cm diameter, 2.4 cm high, 0.8 kg
Low profile without a rim, slightly raised edge

What makes each piece unique:

Material: cream-white glazed stoneware
Hand-applied russet trim, which drips from the edge towards the center
Width and design of the trim differ on each piece
Soft marbling visible in grazing light
Unglazed base
Handmade: slight variations in shade and shape

Without a rim, the plate leaves the dish in the center of a bare surface: it is the choice for understated tables, where the plate structures the place setting. The nearly flat white base highlights colorful dishes, and the russet rim complements raffia, linen, and wood. The small and large plates stack to create a complete place setting.

What each size is used for, and how to keep it looking sharp:

ø 22 cm: appetizer, salad, cheese, dessert, or morning pancakes
ø 28 cm: main course, or charger for a formal place setting
Hand wash, lukewarm water and mild soap
No abrasives or dishwasher
Rinse right after the meal: a dried mark on the rim requires scrubbing
Dry with a soft dish towel
Avoid sudden temperature changes
Place a sheet of paper towel between them when stacking; the unglazed base can scratch

This piece is delivered to you for 12,90 €, and delivery is free on orders from 150 €.
