Teak branches, barely touched up:

• Material: solid teak branches
• Craftsmanship: handcrafted
• Uprights: two branches that retain their natural curves
• Rungs: five, irregular
• Appearance: slight imperfections and tonal variations unique to each ladder

Against a pale wall, the Tulum ladder reads as a vertical line before it is even a storage piece. A fringed throw draped over a rung, a woven basket at its feet, or a large earthenware jar beside it are all it takes to compose a corner of a bedroom, living room, or entryway, in a bohemian or minimalist spirit.

To use it properly and keep it looking beautiful for a long time:

• Uses: throws, bedspreads, towels, or loungewear
• Placement: leaning against a wall, no mounting required
• Distribute the weight across the entire width of the rails
• Slide textiles onto the rails rather than pulling them
• On blackened teak, repeated friction from textiles will polish the finish and create a shinier area
• Dusting: soft, dry cloth
• Never use alcohol or solvents
• For indoor use only
