Each piece is carved from a river stone individually selected for its shape, density, and inherent quality. The rough, granular exterior surface, patinated by millennia of erosion, contrasts sharply with the hand-polished interior, which reveals the granite in its dark and luminous depth. Exact shape, color, texture, and dimensions vary from one piece to another: some basins will be more elongated, others more circular, some darker, others with lighter shades. This variability is proof of the material's authenticity.

The basin is carved from a massive granite river stone block, hand-worked by a stonemason. The exterior retains the original, rough and authentic texture of the pebble, while the interior is stone-polished to obtain a smooth, non-porous and hygienic surface. The waste hole is hand-drilled in the center of the bowl, to standard dimensions. The thick solid granite wall ensures natural thermal insulation and great durability. No surface treatment or lacquer: the stone presents itself as it is.

What you need to know to keep it beautiful every day:

• Cleaning: soft cloth and neutral soap
• Avoid acidic, descaling or abrasive products
• Never use a scouring pad on the polished interior
• Annual oiling with mineral oil on the raw exterior preserves the grain
• Must be placed on a perfectly flat surface for the connection to be watertight
