Aqua low stoneware casserole dish, bluish-green, 25 cm

Key measurements, to place it at the center of the table:

• Diameter: 25 cm
• Height: 8.5 cm, including lid
• Weight: 1.2 kg
• Size: medium, for a sharing dish
• Package: 28 x 28 x 11.5 cm

Resilient stoneware beneath a glaze that is never repeated:

• Material: glazed stoneware
• Glaze: dark green in the recesses, milky turquoise speckled with light crystallizations on the curves
• Rim: golden, where the layer thins, on the edge of the handles and the lid
• Unique piece: color and texture nuances specific to each casserole dish
• Shape: round and low, domed lid with a flattened knob, two short handles

This deep bluish-green ensures a dish stays on the table instead of returning to the kitchen. It highlights an orange soup, a stew, or simmered vegetables, and pairs well with raw wood, linen tablecloths, and white earthenware. Its low profile lets you see the contents and makes it as much a serving piece as a casserole dish.

To serve, and to keep its enamel intact:

• Usage: serving a shared stewed dish
• Washing: by hand, gently, with a soft sponge; soaking rather than scrubbing
• Abrasive sponge: to be avoided, it leaves gray marks on the crystallized enamel
• Temperature: avoid sudden changes, and place it hot on a trivet
• Oven, stovetop, and dishwasher: not specified by the manufacturer
• Lid: do not slide it over the belly when replacing it
