Fish linen kitchen towel, natural, fish pattern, ecru, 50x70

Key measurements of this tea towel:

• Dimensions: 50 x 70 cm
• Weight: 140 g
• Hanging loop in one corner
• Package: 26 x 18 x 2 cm

What makes its material and design:

• Material: natural taupe linen, with a prominent grain
• Pattern: fish outline woven in thick ecru thread, slightly raised, with three bubbles
• Edges: ecru selvage on the two long edges, hem on the other two
• The linen maintains its structure without stiffness and softens with use
• Slight variations in tone from one piece to another

A patterned tea towel is meant to be displayed just as much as it is to be used. This line-art fish stands out from a distance, whether hanging from the oven handle or near the sink, while other towels remain folded away in a drawer. Its natural linen complements stone countertops, wood, and ceramics in a kitchen with natural tones.

To use and maintain it for a long time:

• Uses: drying hands, wrapping bread, lining a fruit bowl
• New linen only reaches its full absorbency after three or four washes
• Machine wash at 40°C
• Never use fabric softener, it prevents the linen from absorbing
• Never scrub the design with a brush
• No chlorine-based stain removers, they will bleach the linen around the design
