Freestanding teak and concrete coat rack, 150 cm

Key measurements to find its place in the entryway:

• Height: 150 cm
• Base: 25 x 25 cm
• Weight: 10 kg
• Short branches distributed along the upper part of the trunk, at variable heights and angles
• Freestanding: no wall mounting or drilling required
• Package: 33.5 x 34.5 x 161.5 cm

Two raw materials, left as they are:

• Trunk: solid barked teak, knots and rough textures preserved
• Branches: cut short, all unique
• Base: dome-cast concrete, surface bubbles and mold lines visible
• Manufacturing: handmade, each piece has its own design
• Indoor use

A light teak trunk on a grey concrete dome: when loaded, it looks like a dressed tree; when empty, it holds the room like a sculpture. It finds its place in an entryway corner, in front of a bare wall, near a wooden bench or under a window, and harmonizes with limewashed walls, terracotta, and woven fibers.

What you need to know for installation and maintenance:

• Stick felt pads under the dome before initial placement
• Without pads, raw concrete scratches parquet floors and can leave a grey ring on light-colored stone
• Distribute loads around the trunk rather than all on one side
• Teak: dry cloth
• Concrete: soft brush, never any stagnant water
