Indo Kubu Rattan Cylindrical Planters Natural Set of 2

The dimensions of the two planters in the set, to choose the place for each:

• Small planter: Ø 40 x H 48 cm
• Large planter: Ø 50 x H 58 cm
• Net weight of the set: 3.5 kg
• Plastic liner included in each planter
• Packaging: set of 2, delivered assembled in one 51 x 51 x 60 cm and 5.5 kg package

What makes the Indos sturdy, row after row:

• Material: large-gauge kubu rattan, harvested and then boiled before being crafted
• Weaving: solid and horizontal, handmade row by row over thick vertical uprights
• Handles: two per planter, made of twisted kubu rope secured with knots
• Lining: plastic, removable, one per planter
• Appearance: slight color variations from one reed to another, characteristic of a hand-worked fiber

Their straight shape, without any tapering, adds verticality and highlights slender plants. Whether paired for a two-height arrangement or placed separately, the Indo planters suit a contemporary terrace just as well as a home entrance, near lanterns, a wooden bench, or a sheepskin rug. Over time, the kubu develops a natural patina that enhances its character.

Where to place them, and how to keep them for a long time:

• Usage: indoor or sheltered outdoor (covered terrace, veranda, porch entrance)
• Protect from prolonged direct rain and intense UV rays
• In freezing weather: bring inside or cover
• Dust: soft brush, regularly
• Light stain: barely damp cloth, then air dry
• Removable lining, to be cleaned separately
