A detail worth mentioning before you choose: for two of the four finishes, the lampshade is exactly the same, made of light woven bamboo. What changes is the base, light lacquered on one, raw wood on the other. That is why their two swatches show the base rather than the wickerwork: two wickerwork swatches would have been identical. The black finish stains the entire piece, lampshade included, and the two-tone version combines a two-toned weave with the wooden base. Otherwise, the wickerwork is not lined: light passes through the strands and casts patterns on the walls, making this floor lamp as much a decorative object as a light source.
