Bamboo, a fast-growing plant fiber, gives the Bali its clean lines and warmth: an angled mast, an arm, and a two-tone herringbone-woven shade. It slips in next to a fabric sofa, a bench filled with cushions, or a reading chair, and complements jute rugs, caned shelves, and trailing plants in a bohemian-style living room.

Placed on the floor and plugged into an electrical outlet
Turned on and off with your foot, using the switch on the cable
