A cylinder of smoked glass suspended above a slender rod: the Cholet has the sobriety of a graphic object, whether off or on. It complements dark woods, fluted furniture, and velvets, and engages in a dialogue with tinted glass vases and candlesticks. On a dark piece of furniture, its warm halo becomes the room's luminous focal point.

To enjoy it and keep it in perfect condition:

• Light: softened by the smoked glass, for ambiance
• Where to place it: side table, desk, console, or bedside table
• Getting started: plug the adapter into a socket, then turn it on using the cable switch
• Dusting: soft, dry cloth
• Grease stains: soft cloth wrung out in lukewarm water, below 50°C, with a mild detergent
• To be avoided: abrasive or solvent-based detergents
• After damp cleaning: turn the lamp back on once all the water has evaporated
