Solid natural teak jar with lid

Measurements for each height, including lid:

• H 6 cm: 6 cm high, 8 cm diameter, 100 g
• H 19 cm: 19 cm high, 10 cm diameter, 180 g
• H 19 cm package: 25 x 15 x 10 cm
• Lid included

What makes it simple and warm:

• Material: solid teak, hand-carved
• Flat lid seated in a groove in the opening, without threads or a seal
• Non-hermetic closure
• Shape: continuous cylinder when closed
• Wood: vertical grain, darker waves and honey tones, variations unique to each jar
• H 6 cm: wood grain pattern that continues from the body to the lid

A wooden cylinder with a seamless profile becomes a small sculpture the moment it is placed alone on a shelf, countertop, or table. The large one, when opened and filled with incense sticks, changes its role without altering its appearance; the small one sits on a breakfast tray or side table. Their honey tones bring warmth to terracotta, linen, and light-colored stone.

What it holds, and what you need to know to make it last:

• H 6 cm: salt, peppercorns, spices, or small objects
• H 19 cm: coffee beans, kitchen utensils, long matches, or incense sticks
• Food contact: dry food only
• Dishwasher, oven, and microwave: no
• Never wash it or store anything damp inside; a dry cloth is sufficient
• Dedicate each jar to a single item: wood absorbs the scent of strong spices
• Apply a little oil from time to time, with the body and lid separated
• Silver-grey patina possible in the sun
