The smallest of the four Onyx models also offers the best performance ratio: it produces 1,813 lumens for 23 W, whereas the 40 cm model produces 1,890 lumens for exactly the same power. In other words, choosing the 40 cm model buys you an extra twelve centimeters in diameter and four percent more light, nothing more. The 30 cm model is therefore suitable for any small area where the light fitting should be unobtrusive: a hallway, an entrance, a passageway, a small bedroom. Its color rendering index, CRI 81, is typical of everyday lighting; for a place where colors are judged closely, such as a dressing room or a makeup mirror, a higher CRI is preferable.
