Reduced to a clean cylinder, Basic stands alone above a niche or painting, or in a row along a hallway to punctuate the ceiling. Its understated line complements contemporary interiors such as kitchens with simple lines, and its finish determines its presence: blended into a ceiling of the same tone, or defined in contrast.

The steps from the manual for ceiling installation:

Switch off the power before any installation, maintenance, or repair
Unscrew the two side screws to release the mounting bracket
Attach the bracket to the ceiling with two screws and two wall plugs
Connect the wires to the terminal block
Fit the body onto the bracket and tighten the two side screws again
Slide the GU10 bulb into the ring, where a clip holds it in place
Adjust the ring towards the area to be illuminated

Maxlight lights a room in two ways: decorative fittings (pendant, wall and ceiling lights) in gold or black metal, glass, travertine or brass, and a magnetic track system with adjustable spotlights, light bars and connected control via Zigbee or DALI. Many models have built-in LEDs; the others take a standard bulb.
