Description

A frame with a slim trim that sits flush with the ceiling, housing an adjustable gimbal to direct light onto a painting, a wall, or a work surface. It accommodates a dual-cell black LED module, which conceals the light source to reveal only the illumination; the module and driver are selected separately, in either fixed or dimmable versions.

Dimensions Modular white metal recessed spotlight frame 2 cells 11 cm

Measurements to know before drilling the ceiling:

Ceiling cutout: 10.3 x 7 cm
Visible frame: 11.2 cm long by 7.9 cm wide
Recess depth: 7.5 cm
Gimbal orientation: 25° on each side
Number of cells: 2

What this frame includes, and what is required to power it on:

Composition: frame only, without light source or driver
Light source required: Modular HM180 2L two-cell LED module, sold separately
Power supply required: HT180 driver, sold separately, connected to 230 V, 50 Hz mains
Dimming: possible with the dimmable version of the driver
Light output once equipped: 3000 K, warm white
Material: white lacquered metal
Installation: flanged, held by two springs
Usage: indoor

A slender white rim, a tilting nacelle, and two dark cells: this frame eliminates the fixture to retain only the light. Its adjustable nacelle makes it a tool for highlighting a painting, a niche, or a bookcase in an interior with clean lines.

The instructions in order:

Switch off the power before any installation, maintenance, or repair
Cut the ceiling to 10.3 x 7 cm
Connect the driver to the mains at its terminal block using a Phillips screwdriver
Connect the module to the driver using its plug
Raise the springs and slide the frame into the cutout: they will hold it in place
Tilt the gimbal up to 25° to direct the light

Maxlight lights a room in two ways: decorative fittings (pendant, wall and ceiling lights) in gold or black metal, glass, travertine or brass, and a magnetic track system with adjustable spotlights, light bars and connected control via Zigbee or DALI. Many models have built-in LEDs; the others take a standard bulb.
