What it's made of:

• Material: solid teak, hand-carved from a single block
• Exterior: raw, rough wood
• Interior: smoother, sanded cavity
• Wood: dense, naturally moisture-resistant, develops a richer patina over time
• Unique piece: shape, grain, knots, and fissures vary from one cut to another

The Rio bowl is a sculpture for everyday life: a free-form contour, veining that ranges from amber to brown, and the roughness of raw wood. On a light wood console table with a wooden sphere, on a black coffee table with a pillar candle, or stacked three-high on a woven rug, they bring a raw, warm texture to a Nordic or natural interior.

What you need to know for its use and maintenance:

• Holds a pillar candle, pebbles, dried flowers, or a decorative sphere
• Dust with a soft, dry cloth
• Light stain: use a barely damp cloth, without abrasive products or chemical cleaners
• Teak oil, applied occasionally, restores the wood's luster
• Decorative use only: this is not a food container
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and harsh weather
