What makes it sturdy and easy to live with, season after season:

• Material: natural teak, from the tabletop to the base
• Dense, oily wood
• Tabletop with raised edges and spaced slats, to allow water to drain
• A handle cut into each short side of the tabletop
• Crossed base, which folds completely flat
• 39 x 29 cm size: uprights connected by wooden crossbars
• 60 x 40 cm size: two black straps between the tabletop supports
• No screws or locks: the tabletop rests on the base

The format determines the use. The small one slides next to a deckchair or garden armchair to hold a glass and a book, and can be tucked away with one hand. The large one serves an aperitif for two or three, on a terrace as well as in a living room, next to a console table or a plant. Both fold in the same way and can be stored upright against a wall, making them useful on a narrow balcony where nothing can be left outside permanently. Teak turns gray slowly in the sun: it is a patina, not wear.

What you need to know for assembly, storage, and maintenance:

• Delivered as a kit: the base unfolds, the tabletop is placed on top
• No tools required, neither for assembly nor for storage
• Ensure the tabletop is securely seated on the base before loading it
• Storage: base folded flat, the whole unit can be stored upright against a wall
• Maintenance: soft brush and soapy water, then rinse with clear water
• Teak oil once a year preserves the honey hue
• Without oil, the teak will turn grey uniformly: this is a choice, not a defect
