Round crocheted natural raffia and cowrie shell placemat 38 cm

Key measurements for this placemat:

• Diameter: 38 cm
• Thickness: 1 cm
• Weight: 0.20 kg
• Sold individually
• Package: 45 x 45 x 10 cm

Its material and trim:

• Material: natural raffia crocheted in a spiral, with a looped and irregular stitch
• Trim: a crown of cowrie shells sewn all around the edge
• Color: light tone-on-tone, blonde raffia and ivory shells
• Handmade: slight natural variations in color and shape

A light tone-on-tone that lets the tableware carry the color: this set is suitable for glazed ceramics and table settings without sharp contrasts. On a marble or wooden tray, it brings the warmth of raffia and pairs well with natural fiber coasters.

Use and care instructions:

• Protects the table from hot or cold plates and spills
• Place glasses on the table: a stemmed glass will not be stable on the raised hook pattern
• Vinaigrette or sauce: wipe dry immediately; oil leaves marks on raffia, and acidity dulls cowrie shells
• Do not use any cleaning products
• Dust the raffia with a brush and the cowrie shells with a soft cloth
• Store in a dry place indoors, away from moisture and direct sunlight
