Thick hand-woven kubu rattan:

• Material: natural kubu rattan, round reeds
• Construction: hand-woven

• Color: golden sand with a slight greyish tint, varying from strand to strand
• Lining: clear, removable plastic
• Patina: evolves over time; each basket is slightly unique

The spherical silhouette of the Melaka makes it a decorative object in its own right, with or without a plant. As a duo, the two volumes offset their heights to create a plant corner with character, in the living room, in a conservatory, or on a sheltered terrace. The raw and warm kubu rattan pairs well with linen, wood, and matte ceramics.

Where to use them, and how to keep them for a long time:

• Usage: indoors or in a sheltered outdoor area
• Large model: large plant, olive tree, palm tree, or ornamental grass
• Small model: indoor potted plant
• Without a plant: basket for throws and cushions
• Protection: keep away from direct rain and intense UV rays
• Dusting: soft brush or dry cloth
• Light stain: barely damp sponge, then immediate air drying
• Lining: removable, for cleaning or replacement
