Set of 2 white antique column cement candle holders

Measurements of the two candle holders and what they accommodate:

• Central hole on both models for a taper candle
• Top cup which also accommodates a pillar candle
• Large candle holder: 15.2 cm high by 11.4 cm at its widest point
• Small candle holder: 8.2 cm high by 10.8 cm at its widest point
• Weight of both pieces: 2.33 kg
• Package: 27 x 20 x 15 cm for 2.7 kg
• The set includes both candle holders, delivered ready to display

What the candle holders are made of:

• Material: cement
• Surface left raw, granular and speckled with small craters
• White hue that transitions to ecru on the same piece
• Protruding collar around the stem, like a capital
• Smooth interior cup, with a central hole

Their silhouette comes straight from classical architecture, scaled down to the size of a table: a shaft, a collar, a cup, and nothing else. White cement and its textured surface bring them closer to stone and the wabi-sabi spirit, where a metal candle holder would shine. They harmonize with raw wood, matte stoneware, linen, and travertine, and stand out sharply against a dark tabletop. As a duo of staggered heights, they are enough to compose a centerpiece.

The uses for which they are suited:

• In the center of a set table: the taper in one, the pillar on the other
• On a sideboard or console table: as a duo at staggered heights
• On a tray: with a low vase and a few branches
• On a mantelpiece, for low lighting
• Designed for indoor use
