The deliberately eroded outer surface, with variations of white, off-white, and soft pink, is a direct result of the manufacturing process: each piece is unique, bearing the authentic marks of its molding. The duo creates a duality of heights and uses, one slender for a taper candle, the other stout for a pillar candle.

The body is made of moulded cement with natural aggregates, a dense, heavy composition that ensures high thermal resistance and absolute stability on all surfaces, even with generously sized candles. The finish is a raw limestone surface, with natural variations of rosy white, beige and ecru: surface irregularities, slight cracks and texture variations are inherent in the artisanal moulding process and are the qualitative signature of these pieces. The inside of the cavities is smoothed during moulding for optimal candle support.

Limestone white cement develops a natural and living patina over time:

• Cleaning: dry or slightly damp cloth, do not immerse or use detergents
• Wax residue: allow to cool completely, then remove with a non-abrasive spatula, a brief pass in the freezer makes it easier to remove
• Delicate surfaces: place on a felt pad or trivet for marble, glass or waxed wood
