What makes up the vases, from material to form:

• Material: ceramic
• Color: white, speckled with dark dots
• Surface: matte and grainy to the touch
• Form: wavy embossed body, narrow neck, opening with irregular edges

These two vases are examples of contemporary sculptural ceramics: no patterns, no color, just a twisted volume that catches the light through its hollows and bumps. The speckled white remains warm and fits in anywhere—on light wood, in a black display cabinet, on a metal shelf, or as a centerpiece on a coffee table. Placed as a duo, they create a complete scene; separated, each one holds its own on any piece of furniture.

How to display them, together or separately:

• As a pair: side by side and slightly offset in depth, the two heights create a scene that needs nothing more
• Separately: one vase per room, on a shelf, a dresser, or a coffee table
• The narrow neck holds a single stem or a small, tight bouquet rather than a large armful
• Dried branches and flowers suit them particularly well
• Empty, they stand on their own as decorative objects
