Slate gray glass vase with bubble relief

Its bipartite ovoid silhouette, with a spherical upper body covered in protruding bubbles, and a smooth, translucent conical lower body, creates a form with a remarkable visual duality, at once raw and precious, organic and geometric. The relief of adjoining spherical bubblesis reminiscent of large contemporary art glass pieces, particularly in the tradition of Scandinavian and Venetian master glassmakers. Made from high-density thick glass, whose slate grey smoky transparency is achieved by adding oxides to the molten mass. The spherical bubble relief is pressure-moulded, ensuring impeccable sharpness and surface regularity. The smooth conical base reveals the natural translucency of the glass, creating a textural contrast between the two areas. Net weight: 0.9 kg.
