What it is made of and what makes each jar unique:

• Material: transparent recycled glass, slightly tinted blue
• Lid: cork
• Hand-blown, with bubbles and ripples unique to each jar
• Hot-rolled, thick, and irregular rim
• Slightly concave base
• Conical cork that fits into the neck of the small sizes, thick disk placed in the opening of the large one

Clear glass transforms the contents into decor: short pasta, dry biscuits, or nuts become the pattern of the object, and the jar changes its appearance every time it is filled. The cork provides a warm touch to an otherwise all-glass object, and it is this contrast that makes the piece stand out, whether on an open kitchen shelf or on a tabletop.

What it stores best, and how to maintain it:

• Dry foods: spices, sugar, coffee, loose tea, short pasta, cookies, nuts
• Food contact approved by the manufacturer
• No airtight seal guaranteed: not suitable for airtight storage
• Glass is dishwasher safe according to the manufacturer, or hand wash with mild soap
• Never get the cork wet; it will swell and will not return to its original shape
• Dry the neck before replacing the stopper, do not close over damp contents
• Avoid abrasive products and sudden temperature changes
