This vase is made entirely of mouth-blown glass, one of the most demanding artisanal techniques in art glassmaking. Each piece is individually hand-shaped by a master glassblower; the molten glass is directly blown by mouth and then freely modeled to achieve these characteristic organic undulations. The veined smoked amber tint is integrated into the mass during melting, so the color is stable, deep, and long-lasting, not applied to the surface. Slight variations in shape, thickness, and hue from one piece to another are inherent to the artisanal process and are the signature of the piece's authenticity. Material: 100 percent glass.
