Smoked Horizon square soup plate, brownish-grey ceramic

Key measurements for this soup plate:

• Dimensions: 21 x 21 cm
• Height: 4.3 cm, with a depth of approximately 3 cm
• Weight: 660 g
• Shape: square, wavy edges, square base
• Package: 27 x 27 x 8 cm

What it is made of and what makes each piece unique:

• Material: glazed ceramic
• Color: brownish-gray, shiny amber-brown base that lightens to speckled gray towards the edges
• Base: concentric square relief pattern
• Underside: glazed, ribbed sides, square foot
• Production: hand-finished, with glaze variations unique to each piece

Dark and contrasting, it highlights what is light: rice, burrata, or white fish take on immediate relief. On a raw wood table, however, it blends into the decor. With the small bowl and mug from the same collection, it creates a breakfast with matching tones, from morning toast to coffee.

What you need to know for its use and maintenance:

• Uses: saucy dishes, pasta, thick soup, main course, side dish or dessert
• Stability: check the base on a thick tablecloth; the raised foot makes it less stable
• Hand wash, with lukewarm water: the enamel does not withstand thermal shock well
• Grey cutlery marks in the grooves: mild paste on a sponge, rubbing in the direction of the grooves
