Tuscany fringed dinner napkin 45x45 cm

Key measurements for each napkin:

• Size: 45 x 45 cm, including fringe
• Weight: 60 g
• Package: 23 x 11 x 1 cm

Its composition, from the fabric to the edge finish:

• Material: linen with a slightly textured feel
• Edges: four raw fringed edges, unhemmed, secured with a zigzag topstitch
• Natural light linen: natural linen fabric, black topstitch
• Black linen: piece-dyed linen fabric, off-white topstitch, with a paler weave visible in places within the fringe
• Appearance: slight variations in tone and weave, inherent to the fiber
• The fringe will thin out after the first few washes and then stabilize

The topstitching thread and the fabric swap places from one finish to the other, and the tone shifts with them: boldly graphic on one side, decidedly raw on the other. Both are suited to bare place settings, wooden tables, and stoneware or terracotta tableware, and much less so to a classic formal table. With a Tuscany tablecloth, it creates a coordinated table linen set.

What you need to know about dining and washing:

• Uses: everyday meals or long weekend lunches, folded next to the plate or placed casually
• Coordinates with Tuscany tablecloths
• Wash at 30 degrees maximum
• Wash in a mesh bag so the loose threads do not tangle
• A stray thread should be cut flush with the zigzag stitch using scissors, without ever pulling: the weave would unravel
