Natural solid teak egg cup 5 cm

Key measurements for a standard-sized egg:

• Diameter: 5 cm
• Height: 5 cm
• Capacity: 50 ml
• Weight: 20 g
• Sold individually
• Package: 15 x 15 x 15 cm

What makes its material and feel:

• Material: solid teak root, unvarnished
• Shape: rounded cylinder, without base or rim
• Edge thinned with a gouge, the shell rests effortlessly
• Sanded surface with a silky touch
• A wood grain runs diagonally across the piece; every egg cup is unique

The egg cup is the breakfast item you look at closely: it deserves to be made of solid wood rather than anonymous porcelain. Placed on a teak tray, next to the toast soldiers, or on a woven fiber placemat, its warm color does all the work.

What you need to know for its use and maintenance:

• Uses: large or medium-sized soft-boiled egg, handful of toasted nuts
• Dry foods only
• Dishwasher, microwave, and oven: no
• Rinse with lukewarm water within a minute, as egg yolk hardens in the pores
• No soaking, then dry hollow-side down
• Regularly apply food-grade oil
