Three vertical lines on the ceiling are enough to frame a table: the line is visible from afar, and the eye passes between the tubes instead of bumping into a lampshade. The fluted design gives the metal the relief of a column, striking enough to stand alone in a sober room, yet fine enough to fade into the background behind a set table. The bar echoes the color of the tubes and places a clean line on the ceiling, whether the finish chosen on this page makes it discreet or bold.

What you need to know before installation, and for subsequent maintenance:

• Two-point ceiling mounting, power cut at the circuit breaker
• Mandatory grounding connection
• Length of each cable adjustable during installation, via the bar's cable grip
• Three GU10 bulbs required; they are not included
• Ridged surface easy to clean
• Indoor use, in a dry location
