Height changes everything for a perforated lampshade. Near the ceiling, the pattern of lines remains above heads and serves as a discreet decoration; lowered over a table, it falls onto the tablecloth and walls, and the light becomes an element of the room. The cable adjusts up to two meters, so the decision is made during installation. Wide but perforated, this lampshade remains light to the eye: it covers a table without overwhelming it, which a solid lampshade of the same diameter would not allow. The same design exists flush with the ceiling, for when nothing should hang down.
