Description
Carved from solid reclaimed teak, the Yoke features a thick seat set on four flared legs held by crossbars, and a barely damp cloth is all that is needed to maintain it. Handmade, it retains the cracks and nuances of its wood: each piece is unique. Whether used as an occasional seat or a rustic accent piece, it brings warmth to a living room or an entryway.

Comfort and Materials +

What gives it its character and durability:

  • Material: solid recycled teak
  • Craftsmanship: handmade; each piece varies in its grain, tone, and small imperfections
  • Seat: thick rectangular top in raw wood, without padding
  • Structure: four splayed legs connected by crossbars
  • Appearance: natural cracks and pronounced grain, natural patinated finish
Style and Decoration +

Raw and warm, the Yoke brings the patina of reclaimed wood to a minimalist interior. Against a plastered wall, beneath a round mirror, or next to a large plant, it warms up an entryway or living room. Its two sizes can be placed side by side, like two pieces of the same family.

Installation and Maintenance +

A few simple steps are all it takes to preserve your teak:

  • Cleaning: slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately
  • Protection: wood oil or protective finish to maintain the warmth of the teak
  • Moving: handle with care
  • Usage: indoor only; humidity and bad weather can damage it, even if sheltered
