Decorative black and white beaded chest piece on a stand 71 cm

Measurements required for the furniture it will be placed on:

• Total height: 71 cm
• Width: 28 cm
• Base depth: 10 cm
• Weight: 1.58 kg
• Package: 33 x 15 x 76 cm

What makes up the piece, from neck to base:

• Materials: beads and iron
• Beads threaded by hand row after row
• Black and white zigzag pattern created by the threading sequence
• Neck covered in a light braided fiber
• Beaded fringe of uneven lengths on the edges and under the tip
• Black iron base with a flat square stand and thin rod
• Handmade piece: bead alignment and texture vary

This is a piece with character, which draws on the vocabulary of ceremonial finery and places it as is into a contemporary interior. The black and white make it more graphic than folk: it pairs well with light walls, raw woods, and woven fibers, and stands on its own on a clear surface. The fringe catches the raking light and moves with the slightest breeze, enlivening a corner of a room without adding anything else.

What it requires once installed:

• Place on a clear table or shelf, no wall mounting required
• Allow for 71 cm of clearance above the surface
• Gently dust the beads with a soft cloth
• Keep in a dry, stable place to preserve the iron and beading
• Indoor use
