Vita 5-Shelf Narrow Steel Shelving Unit 170 cm

Key measurements to ensure it fits:

• Height: 170 cm
• Width: 51 cm
• Depth: 36 cm in black metal, 35 cm in white metal
• Five shelves spaced 39 cm apart, the lowest one 14 cm from the floor
• Maximum load: 5 kg per shelf, or 25 kg total distributed weight
• Weight: 11.2 kg
• Package: one, 175 x 39 x 6.5 cm, 12.4 kg max

What it is made of, from the structure to the shelves:

• Structure: lacquered steel, thin-section uprights and crossbars, with no side panels or back
• Shelves: particle board coated with a melamine film
• 100% FSC certified wood
• Smooth surface, resistant to light scratches
• Monochrome finish: structure and shelves in the same shade
• Adjustable feet for leveling

Tall and slim, the Vita creates a graphic line without weighing down the room. Its wire structure allows the gaze to pass through: it blends into a wall of the same shade or stands out boldly, depending on the chosen finish. Adorned with trailing plants, woven baskets, and ceramics, it finds its place in a Nordic-inspired interior just as well as in a more industrial setting.

What you need to know for assembly and maintenance:

• Delivered as a kit, hardware and instructions included
• Assembly by two people, on a soft surface like a rug to avoid scratches
• The frame is assembled flat then stood upright, and leveled using its adjustable feet
• Wall mounting is mandatory: the anti-tip bracket is provided, but screws and plugs suitable for your wall are not
• Tools for installation: drill, hammer, Phillips screwdriver, and pencil
• Load the lower shelves first
• Retighten the screws 2 weeks after assembly, then every 3 months
• Maintenance: damp cloth, water or mild detergent, then dry with a clean cloth
