What makes it sturdy and comfortable, day after day:

• Frame: FSC-certified plywood

• Opening: two hinges and two gas struts, the lid stays open
• Storage interior: dark textile lining
• Usage: indoor, tested for domestic use up to 110 kg

A simple volume set on slender legs: the Watford slides in where an ordinary piece of furniture would be too bulky, in a narrow entryway, at the foot of a bed, or along a hallway. A fringed throw blanket peeking out from the lid, a potted plant, or two woven baskets are all you need to dress it up. The chosen upholstery determines whether it blends into the background or sets the tone, and its steel legs maintain the same graphic line in any case.

What you need to know for assembly and maintenance:

• Delivered as a kit: the two legs screw into the base; can be done by one person
• Six screws and assembly key provided, assembly in less than 10 minutes
• Tighten the screws 2 weeks after assembly, then every 3 months
• Upholstery: damp cloth and clean water only
• Dust and dirt: vacuum cleaner or soft, clean cloth
• No detergents, solvents, or chemicals on the upholstery
