Quel indice IP faut-il pour un luminaire de salle de bain ?
Un indice IP44 est le repère courant : il protège des projections d'eau et convient à la plupart des emplacements, à distance de la douche et de la baignoire. Au plus près de l'eau, on monte à IP65. Les volumes exacts dépendent de votre installation, faites-les valider par un électricien.
Peut-on installer une suspension dans une salle de bain ?
Oui, à deux conditions : qu'elle porte un indice de protection adapté et qu'elle soit installée hors des volumes les plus proches de l'eau, avec assez de hauteur sous plafond pour ne pas gêner le passage.
Miroir lumineux ou appliques de chaque côté ?
Le miroir lumineux éclaire le visage de façon homogène, sans ombre portée, et libère le mur. Deux appliques placées de part et d'autre donnent une lumière plus douce et symétrique, mais demandent de la place. Le plafonnier seul, lui, crée souvent des ombres sur le visage.
Quelle taille de miroir au-dessus d'un lavabo ?
Visez une largeur légèrement inférieure à celle du meuble, environ 5 à 10 cm de moins de chaque côté, et centrez le miroir sur le lavabo. En hauteur, le centre du miroir se place à peu près au niveau des yeux.
