Description
Outside, a light teak veined with brown; inside, a deep black revealed only upon closer inspection: the Bondi bowl plays with contrast, boldly. It serves up snacks and candies, or stores jewelry and makeup on a dresser or in a bathroom. Reserved for dry foods, it can be maintained with a simple dry cloth.

Dimensions and Packaging +

Bowl and packaging measurements:

  • Diameter: 12 cm
  • Height: 8 cm
  • Capacity: 250 ml
  • Weight: 150 g
  • Package: 14 x 14 x 14 cm
  • Handmade: dimensions may vary by one to two centimeters
Materials and Manufacturing +

What it is made of, and what makes it unique:

  • Material: hand-shaped teak
  • Exterior: natural teak left bare, light and veined with brown
  • Interior: entirely stained black, right to the edge
  • Interior finish: a stain, not a varnish
  • Shape: curved, narrowing towards a small base
  • Indoor use
Style and Decoration +

A dark hollow in a light form provides a depth that bare wood never has: from a distance, you only see a blond object, and the black only appears as you approach. Placed on a light stone shelf among bottles, or on an appetizer table next to wooden displays, it complements the other natural and black teak Bondi pieces.

Use and Care +

Best uses and how to care for it:

  • Dry foods only: almonds, chips, savory snacks, candy, popcorn
  • Storage: jewelry, makeup, small accessories
  • Not microwave, oven, or dishwasher safe
  • Dry or barely damp cloth, no soap
  • Pat rather than rub: the black finish will lighten in patches
  • Do not soak: the light wood will reappear in spots
Delivery +

This piece is delivered to you for 12,90 €, and delivery is free on orders from 150 €.
