Cascais bowl in ivory stoneware

Measurements for each size, and its package:

• 11 cm bowl: 5 cm high, 185 ml, 330 g
• 12 cm bowl: 6 cm high, 220 ml, 330 g
• 11 cm bowl package: 14 x 14 x 8 cm
• 12 cm bowl package: 15 x 15 x 9 cm
• Handmade: slight variations in shape and color from one piece to another

What it is made of, and what makes each piece different:

• Material: handmade glazed stoneware
• Glaze: satin cream white, with the texture of the stoneware showing through
• Decoration: rust-colored halo descending from the rim in irregular fringes, varying by piece
• Shape: slightly irregular contour, more wavy on the 12 cm bowl
• Designed to be durable and chip-resistant

Without any pattern, the Cascais bowl goes with everything; its rust-colored halo gives it just the right amount of character to catch the eye. On a raw wood table in the sun, with gold cutlery or light linen, it creates a simple and warm summer table setting, and both sizes nest together.

What to use it for, and how to care for it:

• 11 cm bowl: compote, ice cream, yogurt, berries, nuts, or thick sauce
• 12 cm bowl: porridge, smoothie bowl, or vegetable bowl
• The 12 cm bowl is microwave and dishwasher safe, but not oven safe
• Gentle hand washing with mild soap recommended by the manufacturer
• No sudden temperature changes
• Rinse immediately: the satin glaze stains with turmeric, curry, and berries
• No bleach or metal scouring pads
