Da Rocha oval dish, white and honey glazed ceramic, 41 cm

Key dimensions of the dish:

• Length: 40.8 cm
• Width: 11.5 cm
• Height: 2.2 cm
• Weight: 1.03 kg
• Package: 46 x 16.5 x 7 cm

Handmade glazed ceramic, unique to every piece:

• Material: handmade glazed ceramic
• Center: smooth white glaze
• Rim: granular honey crown, firing craters and drips
• Edge: wavy, with an irregular outline
• Underside: cream glazed, on an oval base
• One-of-a-kind piece: the glaze varies from one dish to another

Its wavy edge and honey-colored rim give the dish the silhouette of a workshop piece. In the center of a table, it runs like a runner; on a sideboard, it holds a carafe and a few glasses; empty on a console, it stands as an object. It pairs well with raw wood, linen, and warm-toned ceramics.

To serve and keep it clean:

• Uses: roasted vegetables, pastries, sushi rolls, or appetizers
• After serving: empty it without delay; the textured rim retains color
• Washing: by hand, recommended
• Stains: soak in warm soapy water for ten minutes rather than scrubbing
• Abrasives: never use a scouring pad, as it would tear the enameled relief
