What it is made of and what makes each piece unique:

• Material: glazed ceramic
• Glaze: water green turning to bronze on one side, dark brown clay visible on the edge of the rims
• Surface: relief burlap imprint, tactile to the touch
• Underside: glazed, on a square base
• Production: hand-glazed, with color and texture unique to each piece

Seafoam green is a difficult color to match, but it is unbeatable when paired with light wood and unbleached linen, where it brings a freshness that an extra beige would not. Keep the rest of the place setting neutral, with clear glasses and matte cutlery, and let the plate provide the color. With the rectangular dish and the tumbler from the same collection, it creates a table with lagoon-like reflections.

What you need to know for use and care:

• Uses: appetizer, cheese, or dessert on the 20 cm side, main course on the 25 cm side
• Raised edges: hold vinaigrette or sauce
• Cleaning: focus on the hollows of the weave, where grease collects
• Before a hot dish: let the plate return to room temperature
• Hand wash with warm water and a soft sponge
