What it is made of and what makes each piece unique:

• Glaze: aqua green fading into bronze brown at one end
• Surface: relief fabric imprint, diagonal weave
• Underside: glazed, on a rectangular base
• Production: hand-glazed, unique nuances for every piece

A long, low shape does something different than a plate: it aligns. It is the dish that lends a composed air to an impromptu appetizer, placed in the center of a narrow table or on a serving tray. Empty, it becomes a long trinket tray on a console table. With the square plates and the tumbler from the same collection, it creates a table with lagoon reflections, to be paired with light wood and linen.

What you need to know for use and care:

• Uses: makis, sushi, canapés, hors d'oeuvres, seasonal vegetables, or desserts in a row
• Decoration: long catch-all tray for a console or entryway
• Washing: by hand, supporting the dish under the center, never by one end
• Storage: flat, never overhanging a stack of round plates
• Cleaning: focus on the hollows of the weave, using warm water and a soft sponge
