Fourchette à salade en teck naturel vue de dessus tête large à trois entailles et ficelle de jute au talon

Natural solid teak salad fork 26 cm

Description
A wood with a wide, flowing grain that shifts from honey to deep brown within a single piece, featuring straight sides that keep the salad contained while tossing. Hand-carved, each salad bowl retains its unique veining and occasionally the scar of a branch. It should be washed by hand, dried immediately, and nourished with a little food-grade oil from time to time: that is all it asks for.

The size of the salad bowl and its package:

  • Diameter: 25 cm
  • Depth: 12 cm
  • Weight: 0.75 kg
  • Package: 27 x 27 x 15 cm
Materials and Manufacturing +

What the material brings to each piece:

  • Material: suar wood
  • Hand-carved, no two pieces are identical
  • Tones ranging from honey to deep brown on a single salad bowl
  • Straight, thick walls, flat base
  • Branch scars and distinct growth rings may be present on the sides
Style and Decoration +

A salad bowl of this size changes status: it is no longer tucked away between meals; it lives on the countertop or the island, where it serves as a fruit bowl a good part of the time. You might as well choose a piece whose wood grain stands on its own. The cloudy veins of the suar wood harmonize with both raw wood and matte ceramics, and their warmth stands out all the more against light-colored stone or a stainless steel countertop.

Use and Care +

What it's made for and what it requires:

  • A salad for the whole table, to be mixed directly inside
  • Suitable for seasonal fruits as well as a loaf of bread
  • Hand wash with water and mild soap
  • Dry completely after each wash
  • Apply food-grade oil regularly to nourish the wood and revive its color

This piece is delivered to you for 12,90 €, and delivery is free on orders from 150 €.
