Two and a half centimeters in diameter: that is the slenderness that defines the entire design. Placed alone, the Mozaica is barely visible, and that is intentional. Three or five units lined up above an island, or staggered in a stairwell, create a pattern that bulky pendants would make heavy. The polished tip is the only accent: it catches the light and complements the faucets and metal handles of a contemporary kitchen.

What the assembly diagram shows, and what you need to know for maintenance:

• Switch off the power at the breaker box before installation
• Mounting: a bracket screwed into the ceiling with two screws and anchors, to which the canopy is attached using two side screws
• Connection: live, neutral, and earth, Class I
• Height: adjust the cable length before switching on the power
• A G9 bulb is required, not included
• Maintenance: soft, dry cloth, bulb must be cool
• The shiny tip shows fingerprints: wipe it with a microfiber cloth
• IP20: not suitable for wet areas of a bathroom
