Dada wall shield in fringed pandan

Measurements to know before choosing your wall piece:

• Width: 78 cm in natural pandan, 74 cm in black dyed fiber
• Height: 85 cm in natural pandan, 87 cm in black dyed fiber
• Thickness: 5 cm
• Weight: 2 kg
• Package: 83 x 10 x 90 cm in natural pandan, 79 x 10 x 92 cm in black dyed fiber

Its material and the way it is constructed:

• Material: pandan
• Shape: crest taller than it is wide, straight top and rounded base
• Central band: coiled and stitched cord, with alternating blocks of natural pandan and plain-weave black-dyed fiber
• Fringe: strands left loose, barely trimmed, fanned out at the base

Its shield-like silhouette and thick fringe give the wall depth and a warm presence, in a bohemian interior as well as in a more contemporary setting. Above a dark wood console table, it structures an entryway with light-colored walls; against an earth-toned plaster, it extends a warm ambiance. Its central band guides the eye from top to bottom.

Where to install it, how to hang and maintain it:

• Mounting: nail or wall hook required
• Where to hang: between two windows, on a narrow section of wall, above a console table, in a living room or bedroom
• Upon receipt: leave the piece hanging freely; the fringe will regain its drape in about a week
• Fringe: dry cloth wiped flat, in the direction of the drape
• Braided band: paintbrush, the tight weave retains dust
• Indoor use
