Nomad cushion cover in ecru cotton and cowrie shells 50x50 cm

Key measurements and what to expect:

• Format: 50 x 50 cm
• Weight: 450 g, including seashells
• Cover only, filling not included
• Package: 50 x 50 x 2 cm

What makes its fabric and design:

• Material: ecru cotton canvas, matte, with an irregular weave
• Design: two vertical fringe strips and one horizontal, dividing the front into six unequal squares
• Shells: a row of cowrie shells along each strip, sewn one by one through their slit
• Production: handmade, slight variations in texture and shape from one cover to another

Everything is ecru, and it is the shells that catch the light, like a piece of jewelry on a neutral outfit. The Nomad goes naturally with driftwood, seagrass, rattan, and washed linen, without ever feeling like a vacation-themed decor. It takes its place among other ecru cushions on a bench, or in a pair on a white bed.

Where to place it, and how to keep it intact:

• Uses: sofa, bed, or armchair, as a decorative cushion rather than for support
• Never machine wash: the drum breaks the shells and leaves sharp shards
• Hand wash, or spot clean the cotton with a damp sponge
• Soft cloth on the cowrie shells
• Indoor use
