Three wall sconces from the same product line look similar in the catalog but don't perform the same function. The 10 cm cube provides accent lighting: two small triangles of light, and you need to double it up to illuminate a wall. The Quad 2 features two offset cubes and plays with asymmetry. The Maxi, on the other hand, is a single 20 cm box with two light sources: its light beams are wide and continuous, and it's the only one of the three that illuminates an entire section of a wall rather than just highlighting it. For a hallway or a stairwell, this is the one.

What you need to know to install and maintain it:

• Wall mounting, power cut off at the circuit breaker
• Class I: earth connection required
• G9 bulbs not included (2)
• Maintenance: soft, dry cloth, cold bulbs
• IP20: not suitable for wet areas in a bathroom
