Natural solid teak round lidded jar 9.5 cm

The measurements that matter for finding it a place:

• Diameter: 8 cm
• Height with lid: 9.5 cm
• Capacity: 120 ml
• Weight: 160 g
• Lid: included
• Package: 8 x 8 x 9.5 cm

What makes the material and form of this jar:

• Material: natural solid teak, body and lid
• Color: varies from one piece to another, from uniform honey to honey veined with gray
• Shape: body rounded down to the base, solid lid with straight sides
• Closure: lid fits flush onto a wooden shoulder
• Aging: silver-gray patina possible over time without oiling

The contrast between a rounded body and a clean-cut lid, as if precision-carved, gives this jar the look of a small sculpture. It rests on a teak tray alongside other wooden pieces, complements light-colored stone and linen, and warms up a console table, nightstand, or kitchen countertop.

For daily use and to maintain the warmth of the wood:

• Uses: dried herbs, spices, dried fruits, small objects
• Food contact: dry food products only
• Dishwasher, microwave, and oven: no
• Dusting: dry cloth
• Regular oiling to maintain the warm hue, otherwise a silver-grey patina may develop
• Greyish veins: more porous, they darken faster with oil; oil them sparingly
• Keep away from a radiator
