What gives it its material and structure:

• Material: jute, a natural and renewable plant fiber
• Jute braid coiled in a tight spiral, crafted by hand
• Fiber hue, with no added dye
• Slight variations in tone from one set to another, inherent to the material

The jute spiral and oval shape soften the table and give it a holiday feel. The placemat pairs well with light or dark wood tabletops as well as marble, concrete, or ceramic, and fits perfectly into a bohemian, Mediterranean, or Scandinavian interior. White or raw stoneware dinnerware and a candle are all you need to set the table.

Where to use it and how to keep it looking beautiful:

• Under the plate, on the dining table, for indoor use only
• One set for a table of four, two sets for a table of eight
• Material sensitive to moisture: do not submerge
• Stains: slightly damp cloth, then air dry flat
• Do not machine wash
• Avoid direct heat and prolonged sunlight, which will alter the color
